Dictation

Hold a key, speak, and the text appears where your cursor is.

  • Optional cleanup removes ums, repeats and false starts and adds punctuation. Nothing is added or reworded.
  • Your dictionary: names and terms written the way you want.
  • Nothing gets lost: every dictation is saved in History before it is pasted.
  • Compare models on your own voice and keep the one that hears you best.

Meetings

Follow the conversation as a live transcript, split into You and Them.

  • When someone asks a question, a card suggests what you could say, and why.
  • Speech is turned into text on your Mac; the audio never leaves it.
  • The overlay stays where you put it, comes in three sizes and hides with one shortcut.

Want a cloud model? Connect your own account with a provider. Outsaid sends audio or text only to the provider you choose, and only while it works.

In meetings, speech is transcribed on your Mac. With hints on, the latest lines of the conversation go to your cloud provider.

Your history, dictionary and statistics stay on your Mac. Your keys are kept in the macOS Keychain.

No account, no analytics, no tracking. Once a day Outsaid checks for a new version; the request carries only the version number.
